2-DRUM FRONT MOWER: COMPACT DIMENSIONS AND MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY.

The drum mowers FF170 and FF190 are ideal for any ground, especially hilly ground, vineyards and orchards, and are particularly practical due to their limited overall dimensions during work and transport by road.
During mowing, other agricultural implements can be used such as the self-loading trailer, hay turner or another lateral mower, performing several jobs simultaneously. To obtain fodder with the right degree of humidity more rapidly, the models FF170 and FF190 comprise the conditioner with rubber rollers which removes the excess water and accelerates the drying times. The frontal mower can be fitted with a hydraulic shifting device which permits lateral movement on both sides by approximately 20 cm.

THE CONDITIONING TECHNIQUE.

To accelerate the drying process and produce optimal quality fodder, the mowers can be provided with a conditioner with helical rubber rollers (Chevron type), where both the rollers are drive rollers due to the dual transmission. This eliminates the risk of clogging. The conditioner is self-cleaning with closed box transmission in an oil bath. As the fodder passes through the rollers, it is compressed and this opens the outer waxy layer of the stems, so that the excess water flows out, while maintaining the body and all the nutritional elements. Due to the shape of the rollers, the fodder is pressed and split at regular intervals of 5-6 cm throughout its length.
